Overview

The 12 Medium Divot Jugs offer thumb-catches that make them an excellent choice for overhanging walls. Some jugs have thumb catches that work with only the left or right hand, and others have a thumb catch for either hand. The rounded lip is very comfortable, and you'll get 1 finger pad on your pinky finger and about 1-1/2 pads on the other 3 fingers. Some are more incut than others, which gives you a lot of choices when looking for a "certain" hold when setting problems.

For the beginner, this set is a cost-effective choice for vertical walls. They are all easy to grab.

For the big hand, taller, stronger climber, this medium size may feel a little awkward until the wall gets really steep. A larger option is the 12 Large Divot Jugs.
