Set #1 offers the 5 XL Simple Jugs Set #1 (Screw-on) and 5 XL Simple Jugs Set #2 (Screw-on) instead of the  10 Large Simple Screw On Jugs that Set #2 has. The difference between these two sets is size. If you have a toddler or want a hold that two hands can fit on, choose this set of kids’ climbing wall holds, which is Set #1. 

This collection of kids’ climbing holds is designed to meet the needs of preschoolers and up – easy for them to hold on to yet versatile enough to challenge them as they grow. If you plan to lay a sheet of plywood right against drywall, attach the 3/4 inch plywood through the drywall to the studs, and then you can attach the holds anywhere on the plywood. This method of plywood attachment is acceptable because the holds in this set are SCREW ONS and attach with multiple wood screws per hold. You can attach these holds directly to concrete as well using concrete Tapcon screws, which are available as an option.

Yes, you need Footholds! Footholds are smaller than handholds yet big enough to stand on. Footholds, on average, have a lower cost per hold when compared to handholds. The majority of the holds in this set are handholds. For each 4 x 8 sheet of plywood, expect to use 15 footholds.
