Overview

These granite-styled footholds deliver a very grippy texture. Though this set can barely be stood on with a running shoe, it is of the size that a commercial climbing shoe performs best on it.

This set shines as an intro foothold for beginners on lower-angled terrain and steep wall terrain for the more advanced climber.

The incuts in this set challenge the climber to stand on or push into the holds. A few holds have an incut of up to 10 degrees; however, in general, you cannot hook your toe behind most of the holds in this set.

We love these on our 45-degree walls, the foothold we chose for some of our training needs. We chose this hold because we wanted texture on a hold that forced us to engage our core and push with our toes into it. Using the same hold on a 25-degree overhanging wall turns these holds into very positive feet more suited for sub-V3/4 climbing.
