This is Set #2, which is more challenging than Set #1 and easier than Set #3.
Coming in at V1 on a vertical wall, this set of crimpers is an excellent choice for beginners looking to step up their game.
The crimps themselves offer the Golfus dimples along the inside, so nooks and crannies present themselves to all sizes of fingers. In addition, this hold style forces you to find your favored spot for each finger pad. From delicate small fingers to large man-hands, this design style works for all hand sizes.
The crimps themselves offer several different ways to grip them. For example, you can open-hand them, which is by far the most challenging way to grab, you can thumb-scum, and you can thumb-crimp.
This set feels very much like a Flake Crimp would on sandstone. On a Flake Crimp outside, the holds often pinch your tips. This set has material where the pinch would occur, making them very comfortable to crimps.
