Golfus Crimps Set #3 is an excellent choice for the climber that is no longer considered a beginner on a vertical wall. They feel V2 on vertical walls, which is on the high end of difficulty for the beginner.
The incut is approximately 1/4" deep, and there is a comfortable 3/16" thick lip. As the terrain you are route setting on gets steeper, the lip is key to helping you stay on.
On a 20-degree wall, the lip plays a vital role in defining the difficulty at V4 and V10+ on a 45-degree wall.
Smaller-sized hands, often related to female and pre-teen climbers, will have an easier time on them due to their smaller-sized hands, though there is plenty of room for all four fingers and your thumb.
For easier crimps from this line, check out Set #1 and Set #2. For harder crimps, check out Set #4.
