Set #4 is the hardest group of holds compared to Set #1, Set #2, and Set #3 from the Golfus Crimp line. They are an excellent choice for intermediate climbers on low-angle terrain. On climbing walls steeper than 20-degrees overhanging, these grips are in the expert category of difficulty.
The incut is neutral, which means as soon as you move them from a vertical wall to an overhanging wall, the difficulty is amplified.
You can expect a 3/8" deep crimp with plenty of room for all four fingers and your thumb. The lip of this crimp is rounded, which means it's all about you to stay on.
This set feels like V3 crimps on vertical walls. They quickly turn to V5 on a 20-degree wall and V11+ on a 45-degree wall.
