On vertical to mildly overhanging terrain, they provide approachable holds for developing climbers, helping build strength, coordination, and movement awareness in a supportive way.

As the wall angle increases, the Rainbow Rails reveal their more technical side. On a 25-degree overhang, they behave like solid edge holds, feeling around V3 for controlled movement. On steeper 45-degree terrain, the incut shifts into a more demanding sloping feature, pushing into advanced climbing territory (around V7), where body tension and precision become essential.
