MOUNTING YOUR HOLDS DIRECTLY TO MASONRY

Using a hammer drill and 5/32” Tapcon bit, locate and drill the first hole.
Blow the hole clean or draw dust out of the hole using the drill with an in-and-out motion.

Lightly tighten down the first Tapcon screw so you can rotate the hold to the desired orientation.  If the screw starts to bind, STOP! Back the screw out. Clean the hole properly, and confirm the depth of the hole is appropriate for the length of the screw being used.

Once you have the hold oriented the way you want, drill the remaining screws, and tighten all screws.
