Below is a video of the V8 we set on our 45-degree wall. The move that makes this problem V8 is where the climber has both hands on the upside-down oriented Banana Ledge. The remaining moves on the boulder problem all feel in the V5+ range.
This is the largest banana-shaped hold in our line, measuring 24 inches, and it is incredible! We wanted to set something tricky with the kids' holds, so we designed the shape to have a 5-inch diameter at the bolt hole so that it would be very wide to engage your thumbs around the other side.
This hold has a neutral incut ( it's flat) on the concave side of the shape, and on the opposite convex side of the shape is a 20-degree sloper. This hold offers wide pinches in most vertical orientations and slopey pinches when set in the horizontal orientation.
The banana route pictured below is set on our 45-degree wall.
