The slope of the XXXL Brain Coral Wedge #4 is 125-degrees. That is 35-degrees past vertical. This is the max angle expert climbers can hang on without using footholds.
The unique Brain Coral texture offers many ridges that the climber can get a grip that matches their hand size. This hold also makes for a great "in-between" hold for long deadpoint moves. For example, you have a good left hand and then throw out to this hold with your right hand. Now you can adjust your feet and go right hand again. This is called an "intermediate," yet don't confuse that name with this being an expert level hold.
