Overview

These angular-shaped footholds suit novice and intermediate climbers on vertical to low-angled walls. They require climbers to use commercial climbing shoes to stand on with their toes and offer neutral to sloping areas. Their size makes them more challenging, but they are still in the easier range on lower-angled walls. We love this set as footholds for our intermediate to advanced power endurance circuits on our 25-degree wall.

In steep terrain, engaging your core will help you press into the holds. It's worth noting that you won't be able to cheat by dragging your toes, as there are no incuts to offer that kind of purchase.

Check out the 12 Super Small Cobble Feet for a round/oval shape while staying within the "slopey" genre of footholds.

  • Size: average hold measures 2" wide x 2" tall x 1-1/8" standing off the wall.
  • Positive footholds for climbers with commercial climbing shoes.
  • Texture: Atomik 1.0
  • Photo: The blue carabiner in the middle of the photograph is for scale and not included. The longest part is 4".
