10 Medium Basic Jugs (Screw-On)

Overview

The 10 Medium Basic Jugs is a budget-friendly set of kids holds for vertical walls. They have been designed to offer the largest amount of grip with the least amount of material. The result is a hold that works well for the climber with small hands. Many large "jug" options will feel easier than this set. That means this set complements other easier sets. This set is appropriate for children on vertical walls. 

The incut on this set is around 45-degrees, which means they will stay positive until they are installed on a 45-degree wall. On a 45-degree wall, they turn into mini ledges that feel V4. The average width is 3-3/4", but what matters to the climber with larger hands is the left and right "wings" on the incut. When you look at the hold, your fingers are forced into the bowl-like design if the lip is rounded. The holds that look straight on the lip allow fingers to roam out to the sides making extra room. There are five of each style in this set.
