5 Limestone Sloper Jugs (Sets 1 through 2)

Overview

Set #1 in this grouping is the easier of the two sets. These comfortable, open-handed jugs perform well on low-angled walls, specifically those vertical to 15 degrees overhanging. However, when used on steeper walls with an incline greater than 25 degrees, they can feel like slopers, although the limestone-textured thumb catches provide some pinchy sloper action.

We particularly enjoy using this set on our 45-degree wall, where we found that the easiest we could set with them was in the range of V4/V5+ boulder problems.

• SIZE SET #1: The average hold measures 5" wide x 4-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" off the wall.
• SIZE SET #2: The average hold measures 5" wide x 3-1/2" tall x 2-1/2" off the wall.
• Set #1 on vertical walls feels V1 and on a 25-degree wall feels V2.
• Set #2 on vertical walls feels V1+ and on a 25-degree wall feels V2+.
• On 45-degree walls, the easiest you will get is in the V4/5+ range. 
• Texture: Atomik 1.5 detailed rock-like feel.
