Of the three sets of Basic Pinches, #3 is full of wider pinches. One of them has a slight incut and allows you to really dig in when you grab it.  The rest have no real incut and force the use of pinch power to stay on. These are no joke and not appropriate for beginners. 

You can expect V2 on a vertical wall, V4 on a 20-degree overhanging wall, and V7 on a 45-degree wall.
