A Steep Wall Sloper is a climbing hold that offers a sloping surface when installed on a steep wall. This means that as the wall becomes less steep towards a vertical wall, the incut of the hold becomes more apparent and easier to grip.
This sloper has a varying incut of 10 to 20-degrees when installed on a vertical wall. So, when your wall reaches 20-degrees overhanging, the incut is now neutral. On a 45-degree wall, the slopers are in the 120-degree range, which feels about V6.
For beginners, this is an excellent sloper on vertical walls. It has just enough incut to challenge them.
