Overview

This set of limestone pockets offers a unique feel that mimics real rock. The intricate, limestone-like texture on the landing area and the face of each hold provides a variety of sweet spots and thumb catches. Similar to outdoor rock, these details encourage climbers to explore the best techniques for using them.

When placed on vertical terrain, these pockets feel more juggy and neutral, making them an excellent choice to introduce climbers to how to grip pockets.  However, on a 25º wall or steeper, they take on a more slopey quality, upping the difficulty and allowing the unique texture to offer multiple landing area options.

Due to the amount of real estate around the main pocket, you'll find that there are bonus holds just begging to be thought into ideas like two hands on the hold, a double bump, or even a hand/foot match kind of situation. The message here is that we built extras into the designs so you can get multiple options from a single hold.

On vertical walls, this set typically feels around V2 difficulty. On a 25º wall, the difficulty ramps up to approximately V5-V6. On a 45º wall or steeper, the challenge becomes significantly harder, reaching V9 or above.

Overall, this set really shines for more advanced climbers looking to push their limits on overhanging walls. These climbing holds provide a crag-like experience with realistic, tactile textures that challenge the basic designs commonly found in climbing holds.
